Bill Cheney
Vice President Operations
|
Bill’s first assignment at Taylor was as Plant Manager of their East Coast print facility. In 2002 Bill was promoted to his current position as VP of Operations. He oversees the
pre press, customer service and manufacturing operations for all of Taylor.
Prior to joining Taylor, Bill worked for Parker Brother Games where he held a variety of manufacturing positions including the print operations.
Bill attended Northeastern University in Boston and graduated with his Bachelor’s of Science degree in Business with a minor in Economics. After graduation Bill served as an Officer with the Army’s First Calvary Division.When not at work, Bill enjoys being outdoors, soccer, gardening and spending time with his family. |

Kim has held a number of sales and management positions in the industry before coming to Taylor in the spring of 2006. His start with the industry began in 1989 as the Sales and Operations Manager for PFT, Inc.; and through the years, he has worked in typesetting, scanning and EDP services side of the business, as well as the printing and manufacturing side of the book business.
Kim attended Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois and graduated with his Bachelor’s of Arts degree in U.S. History with a minor in psychology in 1986; and later, he worked his way through graduate school completing double Master’s degrees in both Management and Marketing from Webster University. Kim knows the value of a good education, as well as the pleasure of reading a good book; it is this combination that has created his long standing love affair with the publishing industry.
When he is not at work, Kim enjoys exercise, photography, outdoor activities and spending time with his family. Kim has four children: Kathryn, Jessica, Hannah, and Ben. |

Craig Landers
Specialty Books Commercial Supervisor |
Craig, a native Dallasite, joined Taylor in 2006 with over 30 years experience in Customer Service, Estimating, Job Planning and Large Format Print Management. He serves as Commercial Book Supervisor, assisting sales and customers with an in-plant presence. For years Craig has been an active speaker, board participant and magazine contributor in the Graphic Arts Industry.

Craig plays piano, enjoys motorcycling and is an avid Rock ‘N Roll memorabilia collector. Spare time also includes four grandsons with another one on the way. |

Julie is a 25-year veteran at Taylor. She has spent most of her time with the Trade Book Division as a Production Assistant and Office Manager before migrating over to Outside Purchasing and Customer Service. Julie’s extensive production knowledge and company savvy have proven her to be an indispensable asset for the company and our clients.
Julie is married to Pressman John Kacala and she is a country music aficionado. |

George Levesque
Sales Representative, Southwest and West Coast regions |
After graduating with his BA from LaSalle University in Philadelphia, George began his publishing career at Harper & Row (now Harper Collins) in 1972 rising from sales trainee to Editor and Regional Sales Manager. Crossing over to the manufacturing side in 1983, he has worked in typesetting and color separations as well as the print and bind side of the business. He’s traveled the country by planes, trains, and rental cars in pursuit of publishing and manufacturing books.
When not working, George enjoys running, downhill skiing, and sailing on his boat the Ex Libris with his wife of 35 plus years. |

Trudy Mullendore first began her career in printing with the Phoenix Color Corp during the Fall of 1996 as a Mid-Atlantic Sales Rep. Previously she had completed an internship there, working in all of the departments from the accounting to shipping and everything in between. During this adventure she cleaned many an ink fountain, loaded tons of paper on press and helped to burn several plates before the invention of CTP. During the past few years she has worked with other companies including Cadmus Communications and Victor Graphics to further expand her experience in the world of book manufacturing.
When Trudy isn’t enjoying the pursuit of print, she enjoys spending time with her family: husband Jamie, son Sam and two Boxers, Lily and Sally. She also loves to ride her bicycle, cook and watch football.

Steve Templin
Director, Commercial Prepress, Imaging and Press |
Steve has been in the printing industry for over 23 years. He graduated from Pittsburg State University with a degree in Printing Technology. While at Taylor, he has managed everything from preflighting through the press and folding departments. Steve was an integral part of our move to computer-to-plate technology and the introduction of the Komori SuperPerfectors to the press room.
When not at the office, Steve likes spending time with wife and daughter and enjoys wood working and various outdoor activities

With almost 50 years under his belt at Taylor, Frank is both an inspiration and a natural leader within the management group. He started as a 4/c pressmen before migrating into management, and has served as the manager over the Imaging, Plate and Pressroom before moving to the Quality Assurance Department. Frank’s role is critical to our success as he and his staff review every job that goes through the plant.
When he is not at the office, Frank spends his time with his lovely wife of 41 years, Martha, and their twin grandsons. Martha and Frank also have two daughters, Kim and Karen.

Gary Thompson
Director of Finishing |
Gary started at Taylor over 29 years ago as an operator in the case making department. His work ethic and quality consciousness were recognized as he was promoted up through the ranks of Lead, Supervisor, Director of Printing and Finishing. He has played a critical role in Taylor’s adoption of new front line technology with the Komori Super Perfectors, and he has taken that same progressive outlook and used it to build one of the premiere book manufacturing binderies in the country.
Gary is a disciplined fitness addict, running 3 miles a day, rain or shine. When not at the office, he and his wife raise Arabian horses and live in Red Oak, Texas.

With 30 years of industry experience under his belt, Tommy is our prepress go-to person for the day-to-day file issues and customer questions. He started with Taylor in 1999 in our Page setter department. Prior to coming to Taylor, he held positions from 4/c Stripper to Prepress Supervisor and even Plant Manager during his career.
Tommy enjoys building and remodeling homes and working in his yard. He is also an outdoor enthusiast, spending time hunting and fishing as time allows.
